Short version: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, or any third-party advertising or behavioral tracking cookies on BOOJEE.estate. We use only essential browser storage. We show a brief, non-blocking cookie notice on your first visit as a courtesy — it does not gate any page, it just links you to this policy.

What We Use (and What We Don't)

Below is a complete and honest inventory of what BOOJEE.estate stores in your browser and why.

Separately, we run our own first-party analytics beacon that reports page views and button clicks to our servers (page path, event type, referring domain). It does not set a cookie or write to localStorage, and carries no personal identifiers — it is a network request, not browser storage, so it is not a "cookie" as defined by this policy. What We Do Not Use

We have audited this site and can confirm we do not run any of the following on BOOJEE.estate:

Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor DNT and GPC signals. Since we do not use behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, these signals have no additional practical effect — there is nothing to disable. Your data is handled the same way regardless of these browser signals.

GDPR — Do You Need Consent?

Under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, a cookie consent banner is required only for non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising, tracking). We use only essential storage (cart state, account session, payment processing) — strictly-necessary storage does not legally require opt-in consent. We nonetheless show a brief, dismissible cookie notice on first visit as a transparency courtesy; it links here and does not block any part of the site.

If we add any analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this policy and display the required opt-in consent mechanisms before those cookies are set.

CCPA — Do You Sell Cookie Data?

Managing Your Browser Storage

You can clear localStorage and cookies at any time through your browser settings. Clearing localStorage will reset your cart state and preferences. This will not affect your account or orders.

Changes

If we add any tracking or advertising tools, this policy will be updated before deployment. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change.
