Business Valuation

Know What Your Business
Is Worth.
Before Anyone Else Does.

Business brokers charge 10% of sale price to value your company. CPA firms bill $3,000–$10,000 for formal valuations. Before you sell, raise capital, or negotiate — or consider a M&A Consulting engagement — you need a real number. Boojee delivers it in 5–7 days, lender-accepted, using three validated methods.

What We Analyze

Six dimensions that determine what your business is truly worth to a buyer, lender, or investor.

Financial Statements (3 Years)

P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reconciled over 36 months to establish earnings trend, seasonality, and working capital requirements.

Revenue Quality & Concentration

Recurring vs one-time revenue, customer concentration risk, contract length and churn. Buyers discount heavily for concentration above 20%.

EBITDA & Add-Backs

True earnings power after normalizing owner compensation, personal expenses, one-time charges, and non-recurring items that inflate or depress the number.

Owner Dependency Score

How much of the business lives in your head or relationships? We score transferability and flag risks that reduce valuation or require earnout structures.

Market Comparables (3–5 Comps)

Recent transactions in your industry, size band, and geography. Comprehensive package includes verified sale multiples from closed deals within 24 months.

Growth Trajectory

Year-over-year momentum, market tailwinds, pipeline quality, and defensibility of margin. Buyers pay premiums for growth; we document yours clearly.

Frequently Asked Questions

What documents do I need to submit?

Three years of Profit & Loss statements (or business tax returns if those are cleaner), your most recent balance sheet, and a brief intake questionnaire we send after checkout. Most clients pull everything together in under an hour. If you have QuickBooks or a bookkeeper, we can work from exports.

Is this a certified business appraisal?

Our reports are prepared by experienced M&A analysts and are accepted by SBA lenders, commercial banks, and private buyers in the $500K–$10M transaction range. For court or IRS dispute purposes requiring a credentialed Certified Business Appraiser (CBA), we’ll let you know if that applies and can refer you appropriately—but most small business sales, raises, and buyouts do not require it.

How is the price calculated?

We use three methods: (1) Income Approach—your normalized EBITDA multiplied by an industry multiple; (2) Market Approach—comparable business sale transactions in your sector; (3) Asset Approach—tangible and intangible asset values. The final report presents all three, reconciles them, and provides a defensible range rather than a single point estimate.

What if I’m not selling right now—is this still useful?

Absolutely. The best time to get a valuation is 2–3 years before you plan to sell, raise, or exit. Knowing your number now lets you take deliberate steps to increase it—reducing owner dependency, building recurring revenue, cleaning up the books. Owners who know their number in advance consistently close higher than those who value at the time of sale.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery is 5–7 business days after your document intake is complete. Rush delivery in 48–72 hours is available for an additional $250—mention it in the notes field and we’ll confirm availability. Comprehensive reports with market comparables may take 1–2 additional days depending on comparable transaction availability in your sector.
