Is this health insurance?
No. BOOJEE Health is a navigation and coordination service — we work alongside your existing insurance, not instead of it. We help you use your insurance more effectively, file claims correctly, appeal denials, and understand your benefits. You still need your own health insurance coverage.
What do you do that a doctor can't?
Your doctor has 12 minutes per appointment, 2,000+ patients on their panel, and no staff dedicated to your care coordination specifically. We have time. We track your labs longitudinally, follow up with specialists who didn't call back, file the appeal your doctor's billing team dropped, and make sure the information your four providers need from each other actually flows between them. It's an operational role — not a clinical one.
How do you access my health records?
We work with what you share with us, plus records you authorize via HIPAA release forms with your providers. We never access records without explicit written authorization. On Estate and Command tiers, we provide a standard HIPAA authorization form and guide you through the release process with each provider.
Do you work with any doctor, or only specific networks?
We are network-agnostic. We work with whatever providers you already have, and when you need a new one, we source options based on your insurance network, location, wait time, and our vetting criteria — not a preferred partner list. Estate and Command members get proactive specialist sourcing; Vital members get up to 3 referral coordination requests per month.
What if I have a health emergency?
Call 911. BOOJEE Health is a care coordination service, not an emergency response provider. Command members have an emergency response plan on file with their health director — current medications, providers, allergies, and insurance information in a portable format — but in an active emergency, always contact emergency services first.
