Nonprofit Suite · Grant Writing

Free grant-readiness check.
Then we write the grants that get funded.

Small nonprofits leave hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant money on the table every year — not because funders aren't interested, but because no one wrote the proposal. We fix that, at flat rates, with no contingency cut from your award.

Honest disclaimer: Grant awards are never guaranteed. Funder decisions depend on their priorities, competition pool, timing, and relationship history — all outside our control. We guarantee the quality and completeness of every document we deliver. We do not work on contingency.

Built for small nonprofits
that can't afford to miss grants

We're a fit for organizations ready to apply — and honest about who we can't help yet.

Good fit

  • 501(c)(3) confirmed, budget $250K–$5M
  • 1–3 active program areas with program data available
  • New nonprofits seeking first $25K–$100K in foundation grants
  • Organizations whose grant pipeline has stalled or prior writer has left
  • Clients of the BOOJEE Fundraising Suite adding dedicated grant writing
  • Board can sign letters and provide basic org documents within 3 business days

Not a fit (yet)

  • Organizations without confirmed 501(c)(3) status
  • Clients who cannot provide basic program data within 3 business days
  • Organizations seeking government (CFDA) grants over $500K without prior grant history
  • Anyone expecting a guarantee of award — no ethical grant writer can promise that

Submission-ready documents
— not drafts to edit yourself

Every engagement produces real, complete grant documents. You review and approve before anything goes to a funder.

Letter of Inquiry (LOI)

1–2 pages tailored to the funder's stated format — mission alignment, brief program description, amount requested, and invite to full proposal.

Full Proposal Narrative

Complete proposal matching funder guidelines — statement of need, project description, measurable objectives, logic model, evaluation plan, organizational capacity, and conclusion.

Budget + Budget Narrative

Line-item project budget with clear justification for every cost. Narrative explains how funds will be used and leveraged for maximum funder confidence.

Attachments Checklist

Funder-specific list of required attachments (IRS determination letter, board list, audited financials, etc.) with status flags so you know exactly what to gather.

Submission Instructions

Step-by-step checklist covering portal login, file format requirements, deadline, and confirmation — so nothing is missed at the finish line.

Funder Research Add-On

Don't know where to apply? We prospect 10–15 vetted funders matched to your geography, program area, and budget — tiered by fit and application cycle.

Three steps from readiness check
to submitted proposal

Free Readiness Check

Fill out the form below. We review your organization's eligibility posture — 501(c)(3) status, available financials, program documentation — and tell you honestly what's ready and what gaps exist before you spend a dollar.

We Research & Write

Once you choose a package, we identify the best-fit funders (or work with your funder list), gather your org documents, and write the full proposal — narrative, budget, attachments — to professional grant-writing standards.

You Review & Submit

You get 2 rounds of revisions before anything goes out. We provide the submission checklist; you (or your designated contact) submit. The award decision belongs to the funder.

Flat fees. No contingency.
No hourly billing.

All packages include 2 rounds of revisions and a submission instructions sheet. Prices are for services rendered regardless of award outcome.

How proposals are written
and what that means for you

AI-Assisted, Human-QA'd

Proposals are drafted by BOOJEE's AI fleet under a Fulfillment SOP. A human reviewer QAs every document before delivery. We're transparent that AI is our production tool — the output is fully reviewed and accurate to the data you provide.

Funder-Fit First

We only pursue grants where you have genuine eligibility and a competitive chance. We screen funder guidelines before writing — no cookie-cutter proposals sent to mismatched funders.

Written to Professional Standards

Every proposal follows professional grant-writing best practices: clear statement of need, measurable objectives, realistic budget, and reviewer-friendly structure. We honor funder word limits and formatting rules.

No False Promises

Grant awards depend on funder priorities, competition, timing, and relationship history — all outside our control. Any writer who guarantees an award is misleading you. We guarantee document quality, not the funder's decision.

Flat Fees, No Contingency

Service fees are fixed regardless of award outcome. We do not take a percentage of grant awards. You keep 100% of what funders give you.

You Approve Before Submission

Nothing goes to a funder without your review and sign-off. You get 2 revision rounds per proposal, and the final submission step belongs to you.

Common questions

Do you guarantee grant awards?

No — and you should be skeptical of anyone who does. Grant decisions rest entirely with funders: their priorities, budget cycles, competition pool, and relationship history. What we guarantee is the highest-quality, compliant, complete proposal we can deliver, written to a professional standard and matched to funders where you have genuine eligibility.

What is the free grant-readiness check?

Before you spend a dollar, we review your organization's current eligibility posture: 501(c)(3) confirmation, available financials (990, audited or reviewed statements), program documentation, and board materials. We tell you honestly whether you're ready to apply, what gaps exist, and which funder tiers are realistic right now. There's no commitment and no sales pressure at this stage.

What do we need to provide for you to write a proposal?

Required documents for all packages: IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter, most recent Form 990 (or 990-EZ/990-N), most recent audited or CPA-reviewed financials (or treasurer's report for orgs under $250K), current board of directors list, organization budget for the current fiscal year, program description (what the program does, who it serves, how many people, where, and since when), and desired project period. For Single Grant and Grant Package: funder guidelines URL or PDF and your submission deadline. Missing items pause the project clock.

How long does it take?

Grant Research Add-On: 5 business days from intake. Single Grant: 10 business days from completed intake. Grant Package (3 proposals): 15 business days, delivered in sequence so revision cycles don't overlap. Monthly Retainer: first proposals delivered within 10 business days of onboarding; ongoing thereafter. All timelines start when we have your completed intake form and org documents.

What if our application is declined?

A decline is funder information, not a failure of the proposal. For retainer clients, we track declines, request reviewer feedback where available, and incorporate it into future submissions for the same program area. For one-time packages, we can provide a debrief and discuss revising for the next cycle at a reduced rate. We don't disappear after a decline — we treat it as data.

How does the Fundraising Suite bundle rate work?

Clients already on the BOOJEE Fundraising Suite ($8,000/mo) have their intake documents and org data on file. Adding the Monthly Retainer at the bundled rate of $1,800/mo (vs. $2,200/mo standalone) reflects that reduced setup overhead. You must be an active Suite client to access the bundled rate. See Nonprofit Fundraising Consulting for Suite details.
