Clipping campaigns

Brands fund the clips.
Clippers get paid per verified view.

A brand posts a budget and a rate per 1,000 views. Clippers cut the brand's source content, post it to YouTube, and submit the link. What each clipper is owed is calculated from view counts we can independently check.

Read this before you earn anything here. This platform does not send payments. There is no automated payout system — Stripe Connect is not set up and requires operator approval. Every balance you see is an accrual: a record of what is owed. Balances are settled manually by the operator on an agreed schedule, out of band. "Exported" means your earnings appeared on a manual payout worksheet; it is not confirmation that money reached you.
A campaign budget is not escrowed. When a brand states a budget, this platform does not collect or hold that money — it cannot. The budget is a stated spending limit that caps how much can accrue, not a deposit sitting in an account.

Two sides, one marketplace

Open campaigns

Loaded live from the campaign API. If the list is empty, there are genuinely no open campaigns — this page does not show placeholder or example campaigns.

Your clipper account

A clipper account is a handle and an API key. There is no email confirmation, no password reset and no identity verification (KYC). The key is shown once and cannot be recovered — this page stores it in your browser's local storage only, so clearing site data loses it.

Create a clipper handle

Lowercase letters, numbers, hyphen and underscore. Must start with a letter or number.

Already have a key

Held in this browser only. It is sent as a bearer token to the campaign API.

Submit a posted clip

Post your cut to YouTube first, then paste the live URL. Submitting earns nothing on its own: money begins accruing only after the brand approves the clip and a verified view count is recorded against it.

Submit a clip URL

You must join a campaign before you can submit to it. The Join button is on each campaign card above.
YouTube only — watch, shorts, live and youtu.be links all work. TikTok and Instagram are not accepted; the verification notes below say exactly why, because the reason is different for each.
Stored as your own unverified claim so the brand can see it. It is never used to calculate what you are paid.

How a view count is verified

Money is only ever calculated from a view count this platform read itself. The method and its limits are shown on every submission, because the method is not equally good on every platform.

YouTube Exact

The public view count is readable directly and is exact — not rounded, not bucketed. A delta between two readings is a real delta.

TikTok Not accepted

Removed on 29 July 2026 — and this was a choice, not a breakage. TikTok publishes a file telling automated visitors what they may read. That file now names the kind of AI agent that runs our view checker and tells it to read nothing. The same file would let a crawler with a different name through, so we could keep TikTok by simply calling our checker something else. We are not going to. Being told no and coming back under a new name is not a technical fix.

So we cannot read a TikTok play count, and we do not pay on numbers we cannot read. A TikTok link now returns that explanation at submission rather than quietly accepting a clip that could never earn. If you clip for TikTok, post the cut to YouTube too — that one we verify exactly.

Instagram Not verifiable

Instagram is rejected at submission. Meta provides no way for us to read view counts on posts we do not own — it is a permissions wall, not an engineering gap, and no amount of work on our side changes it. Rather than accrue money against a number we cannot check, we do not accept the platform.

How your view count actually gets read. A poller runs every 30 minutes. It reads the public YouTube page for each approved clip, and writes the number it found into the ledger through an operator-authenticated route. Nothing is read before a brand approves your clip, so expect zero until then, and the first reading within about half an hour after. Readings get less frequent as a clip ages — hourly for the first few hours, then daily, then weekly — because that is when the number is still moving.

If a reading fails, the count does not move and you accrue nothing for that window. It is never estimated, never interpolated, and never filled in from what you told us. So "0 verified views" means "nothing has measured it yet", not "your clip got no views" — and a number that stalls means a failed read, not a dead clip. We would rather owe you late than pay on a number we made up.
Why we make you paste a code in your description. Reading a view count proves the video has those views. It proves nothing about who made it. Without a second check, the cheapest way to earn here would be to find someone else's video with millions of views and submit the link.

So when you submit, we issue you a short code. Put it anywhere in the video's description. The poller reads that description, and nothing accrues until the code is there — however many views the clip has. Your views are still counted and shown to the brand in the meantime; they just cannot be paid on. Only someone who can edit that description controls the account, which is the whole point.

We check once. After we have seen it, delete the code if you like — we do not look again, so tidying your description will never quietly stop your earnings. Proving one clip also binds that channel to your account, so every later clip from the same channel is proven already and you never paste a code twice. A channel bound to one account cannot be claimed by another; that goes to a human, because overwriting it would be an account takeover.
Why earnings are held for a week. Platforms remove fake views retroactively, sometimes days later. Accruals sit in a hold window after they are earned before they become payable, so we are not settling on view counts the platform itself is about to delete. The hold window length is reported by the API on your earnings panel rather than hardcoded here.

What works and what does not

Kept current against the code, not against the roadmap.

Working today

  • Brand and clipper accounts with bearer-token API keys
  • Creating campaigns with a budget, rate, rules and end date
  • Public browsing of open campaigns
  • Joining a campaign and submitting a posted YouTube URL
  • Duplicate-video rejection across every campaign and every clipper
  • Brand review queue with approve and reject
  • Automatic view verification — a poller reads the public YouTube page every 30 minutes
  • Ownership proof: nothing accrues until your challenge code is seen in the video description
  • Integer-cent accrual arithmetic with the fee split shown to both sides
  • A per-campaign spend ledger that reconciles against the budget counter
  • A manual payout worksheet the operator exports and settles from

Not working — stated plainly

  • Sending money. No payout system exists; Stripe Connect is not set up
  • Collecting or escrowing a brand's campaign budget
  • Instagram, permanently: its view counts cannot be independently verified
  • TikTok, for now: its robots.txt disallows our crawler, so we cannot read a TikTok count at all
  • Identity verification of clippers or brands. There is no KYC
  • Any AI. Nothing here is model-driven; every rule is arithmetic and SQL
  • Fraud detection. No thresholds are in place, because none have been fitted to real data
  • Account recovery. A lost API key cannot be recovered or reset

Talk to a human first

Because payouts are manual, running a real campaign here means agreeing a settlement schedule with the operator up front. Send a note and a person reads it.
