Active alerts
Real ground radar
NOAA's Multi-Radar-Multi-Sensor base reflectivity mosaic — the same national radar network meteorologists use, not a modeled estimate.
Official NWS warnings
Live severe weather alerts pulled directly from api.weather.gov for your zip code — watches, warnings, and advisories, reproduced in full.
US coverage
Works anywhere in the United States and its territories, since it's built entirely on public NOAA/NWS government data.
Free, no account
No signup, no paywall, no tracking beyond what's needed to show you your own weather. Just enter a zip code.
What this is not
BOOJEE Climate is a radar viewer and alert reader, not a forecasting service. It does not generate its own forecasts, storm tracks, or predictions — it displays the current NOAA radar mosaic and whatever active NWS alerts exist for your area right now.
- Radar — live NOAA MRMS base reflectivity, refreshed roughly every 10 minutes
- Alerts — official NWS watches/warnings/advisories, reproduced in full, public-domain data
- No push notifications yet — this is a look-it-up tool today, not a proactive alert system
- No forecast — for multi-day forecasts, NOAA's own weather.gov is the source
BOOJEE Climate displays public-domain data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and National Weather Service (NWS): radar imagery via NOAA's MRMS web map service and alerts via api.weather.gov. Current temperature, humidity, and US Air Quality Index (AQI) are provided by Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com, CC-BY 4.0). BOOJEE Estate is not affiliated with NOAA, the NWS, or Open-Meteo. Always follow official guidance from your local NWS office during severe weather, and from AirNow.gov / your local air agency for air-quality health decisions.
