Do my clients need to opt in to receive reminders?
Yes — and we make it easy. Your clients confirm their opt-in during the booking process via a simple checkbox or SMS keyword confirm, depending on your booking platform. We provide the compliance language and the opt-in flow. All messages include a one-tap opt-out. We're fully compliant with TCPA (US) and CAN-SPAM. You're never exposed.
What booking software does BOOJEE Reminders work with?
We integrate natively with Calendly, Acuity Scheduling, Square Appointments, Mindbody, Vagaro, Google Calendar, Zoho Bookings, and GoHighLevel. We also connect via Zapier, which covers virtually any other booking platform. During onboarding, we'll confirm your setup and handle the connection — typically takes less than 30 minutes.
Can I customize the reminder messages?
Absolutely. You can customize the tone, wording, and any instructions (parking info, prep requirements, what to bring, etc.) for each message in the sequence. Growth plan clients also have full control over timing intervals — so if your practice works better with a 72-hour first touch instead of 48, that's an easy change. We set sensible defaults on day one so you're live immediately.
What happens when a client cancels through a reminder?
When a client cancels via the reminder link, the cancellation is logged to your booking software, the appointment slot opens up, and — on the Growth plan — an optional waitlist notification fires to any clients you have queued for open slots. You're notified immediately so you can act on the opening. We don't just handle no-shows; we turn cancellations into filled slots.
